I've been experimenting with repeating patterns in traditionally created art. To that end I've used screen printing, masking patterns, and in this piece, digital printing. After the initial sketch, I masked off the foreground and printed the background pattern (of Victorian themed floral cats) with archival inks. Then continuing and finishing the work with acrylic ink and watercolor. I would say it was a successful experiment as I quite like the result.
