I love the duality of fantasy worlds in Stranger Things. It encapsulates the childlike wonder of things we have yet to discover juxtaposed against the true horror of things we can never understand. Like a lot of artists, I spend a good deal of time in fantasy worlds, at times leaving my grasp on reality a little tenuous. Joyce Byers really speaks to me specifically as the hero of the story. Trusting what she knows to be unbelievable, against those who think she's losing her mind, and fighting without doubt or hesitation for everything she holds dear in a world that no longer makes sense.
 
Created with watercolor, ink and gold mica. The print measures 8.5x11" for easy framing. It's printed using vibrant Epson inks on smooth matte paper. It's signed by me (unless you wish otherwise) and ships securely in a mailing tube.
